Therefore, I recommend not doing it for more than 2-3 weeks. If you want to continue, you can proceed with a lazy ketogenic diet.

This program uses fats instead of carbohydrates as an energy source. Here are the key features of this program:

  • High Fat: A large portion of daily calorie intake comes from healthy fats. Foods like avocados, olive oil, butter, and oilseeds are preferred.
  • Low Carbohydrate: Daily carbohydrate intake is generally limited to 20-50 grams. Sugar, grains, starchy vegetables, and fruits are kept to a minimum.
  • Sufficient Protein: Enough protein is consumed to support bodily functions, but the amount is controlled as too much protein can disrupt ketosis.
  • No Cheating or Sweets: There is no room for cheating or consuming sweets on the program.
  • Small Amounts of Milk and Dairy Products: Milk and dairy products are consumed in very small quantities.
  • Disciplined Nutrition: The nutritional program must be followed regularly and strictly to maintain ketosis.
