Hi,
The program you purchased is from my Zoom group classes. These are not edited videos. Therefore, the pricing reflects this. If you prefer to use edited videos for exercises, you can check out my programs on my website ( https://gulsjourney.com/ ).
These sessions involve high-intensity exercises. If you get too tired and feel like you can't continue, you can always pause the video and rest. You can spread the exercise throughout the day. However, please do not end the exercise before completing the stretching.
IMPORTANT REMINDER regarding the elliptical trainer!
This is an elliptical group class, but since it's impossible for everyone to use the same elliptical, be sure to familiarize yourself with your elliptical before starting the videos. Ellipticals generally have difficulty level adjustments. Some also have incline adjustments. Because each elliptical has a different level adjustment, you might not be able to increase the level at the same time as me. My suggestion is to familiarize yourself with the difficulty levels first. Since my elliptical goes up to level 25, I usually increase the level by 3 in each class. However, if yours doesn't go that high, increase the level every two laps, for example.
Where can I do this exercise?
You can do it anywhere you want. Since the videos will be on YouTube, you can download them and do it even if you don't have internet access.
Important Reminder!
This is an 8-week workout program, spread over one day a week. The sessions are 40-60 minutes long. It's not sufficient on its own, and I don't recommend repeating the same exercises every day. We did this elliptical workout with the Wednesday group once a week for eight weeks.
What time of day should I do it?
The most suitable time for you is the best time of day.
Do I need to exercise outside of the program?
If you're also taking other Zoom group classes, you could add this elliptical class to Wednesday or the weekend, for example.
What materials do we need?
Since this will be an elliptical class, having your own elliptical is important. However, you will also need dumbbells, a mat, and proper running shoes.
How should you choose a mat? I usually use a yoga mat for my workouts. They are typically 4 or 6 mm thick, but 10-15 mm thick mats are also recommended for exercise. I leave the choice up to you.
I think athletic shoes are very important because they can also help prevent potential injuries.
I understood the importance of a proper sports bra during this program. At that time, my baby was five months old, and I was going through a period where I was quite overweight, both in terms of weight and breast size. I realized that a good quality exercise leggings and bra not only supported my body during exercises but also made me feel good. This is because these types of garments provide better support during hops and jumps. Of course, these are all suggestions. Whether you buy them or not is up to you.
I recommend dumbbells; we use them in classes.
How can I choose the right dumbbell?
Since our classes combine HIIT and weight training, dumbbells play a crucial role. If the dumbbells don't challenge you enough, you won't get the same benefit from the workout after a while, and it will start to feel too easy. Therefore, it's important that the dumbbells you use challenge you to some extent. I generally used 1-3-5 kg in these programs. As the programs progressed, I added 7-10 kg. Of course, this doesn't mean you can't get the most out of your workout without dumbbells. You definitely will, but the idea of not being challenged can cause some people to feel like they're not doing anything meaningful. If you're one of those people, I wanted you to know the role of dumbbells.
Do I need to use dumbbells?
No, you're not! It's entirely up to you. You can perform the movements with your hands as if you had dumbbells.
Thank you.
